I was born on the land of the Algonquin people (Washington, D.C.) and raised in Maryland. Understanding culture and personal expression impact people's attitudes, may we share in our meeting. The practice and teaching of yoga was a catalyst to working with the community. Instructing since 2013, there is still much I have to learn in honoring its tradition as a way of life. My appreciation for yoga contributed to personal growth, shifted a relationship with wounds, and propelled natural interests towards the human body and understanding others. This trajectory, along with health coach training, helped nurture a sense of self through service and one-on-one connection. It wasn’t until my child's diagnosis of epilepsy at six months old that my heart ignited towards healthcare. Seeking non-invasive ways to treat him, we found shelter and success with a pediatric acupuncturist. Medical school wasn’t available for me at the time I decided to pursue healthcare. Massage therapy became a complementary extension to teaching yoga. After fulfilling a doctorate in Chinese medicine, my approach to bodywork became more well-rounded. Our sessions together are intuitive and detail-oriented, founded on Structural Integration and Myofascial Release techniques, Eastern principles, and a trauma-informed lens. A curriculum vitae of my education and continuing education is available upon request.
The patterns I commonly treat include concurrent care for athletes, mental health, neurological conditions, supporting whole families with prenatal/postnatal and baby care, teen health, care of our elders, pediatric and oncology patients, and individuals experiencing professional massage therapy for the first time.
On my spare time, I welcome the nourishment of outdoor adventures. There’s something about a good side stretch, foggy mornings, bike rides, sharing food, snuggles, and the sound of the ocean.
What is a session like with you?
Energetically safe, calm, and intuitive.
Favorite thing about your job?
Focused work one-on-one, holding therapeutic space, and witnessing someone experiencing a relationship to themselves with different awareness. It's quite special to assign meaning to touch and to be given permission to work with an individual, their body, and being.

All bodies. May have an appreciation for holistic approaches in health to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Open-minded and vocal with feedback if so inclined. Values in-person experience and word-of-mouth referral.
Where have you lived?
Maryland, California, New York, Indonesia, and Oregon. Currently living in Portland with residence in Multnomah County, the traditional lands of the Cowlitz, Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Tumwater, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Wasco, Mollala, Watlala bands of the Chinook, and nations of the Nch'i Wana
Something that resonates with you?
I don't like promoting anything that hasn't been a part of my life experience.
What would be your personal motto?
Fall down seven times, get up eight.
What makes you laugh or smile?
Another's smile, children, dogs out the car window, and cynical characters on comedy sitcoms about nothing
